Comes in its original box with instructions manual. Comes from a pet and smoke free home. If you see a pinkish looking stain on pic 2, that was a reflection from something when I took the picture. Product has no stain, no tear.
The First Years Close & Secure Sleeper allows you to feed, soothe, monitor, and bond with baby in the comfort of your own bed. The sleeper is anchored to your bed by a large flap that tucks under your mattress. The patented Airflow design of the hollow frame and breathable mesh fabric keep air circulating and baby cool. A durable, cloth-covered U-shaped "wall" surrounds baby?s head and torso to limit their movement and help prevent parents from rolling onto them.
The soft head barrier reduces the risk of entrapment, while the foot wedge--which can be used as a sleep positioner in future months--ensures baby stays snugly inside the sleep area. The supportive bottom is a cozy resting spot with the included soft cover, vinyl covered mattress, and removable, machine washable mattress sheet. A built-in nightlight allows you to quietly check on your bundle of joy during the night and provides enough illumination for feedings.
I bought this product because my friends highly recommended this product as the product to buy if new parents are thinking about co-sleeping. As a new Mom I was always worried about SIDS. I was always tired because I was always aware & worried about rolling over when I co sleep with my son on the bed. Friends recommended for me to buy this product first before buying a cot (a cot costs heaps more) and tried it until my son has outgrown the sleeper. Their babies loved to sleep in the sleeper. Unfortunately, my son is unique. He refused to be put in the sleeper for longer than a couple of minutes and cried like thunder. I wish I had known this before I bought the brand new sleeper. After trying twice with my son with no avail, I gave up and bought a cot.
